David Riedel is a co-founder of Some Country For Old Men, a news and commentary blog that focuses on politics, pop culture, journalism and the arts. He’s the former managing editor of the New Haven Advocate, New Haven’s alternative news weekly. He graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in May 2008. His work has appeared in the New York Post, Sacramento News & Review, Chico News & Review, the New York Review of Magazines and Crawdaddy!
Previously, he worked at ABC News in New York and CBS 13 in Sacramento in advertising and promotions. He’s also held a variety of film and television production jobs.
David is originally from Indiana and he plays a mean set of drums.
He also contributes to the music blog Blood of the Lamb.
